Common director questions

Will I lose my home?

Company debts usually stay with the company, not you personally. The main risks to personal assets are debts you’ve personally guaranteed. We’ll explain exactly where you stand, for free, before you decide anything.

Am I personally liable for company debts?

In most cases, no. The exceptions are personal guarantees and an overdrawn director’s loan account. We assess your personal exposure as part of our free initial advice.

Is my enquiry confidential?

Completely. Your conversations with us are private and there’s no obligation to take things further.

How quickly can you help?

Often the same day. If you’re facing a winding-up petition or enforcement action, call us straight away, acting early gives you far more options.
